2022 marked the best season of Foster Moreau’s career. With Darren Waller battling injuries for the majority of the season, Moreau stepped up as the primary tight end in the Las Vegas offense. Appearing in 15 games while making 14 starts, Moreau finished the season with 33 receptions for 420 yards and two touchdowns on 54 targets.

Foster Moreau originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Selected by the then-Oakland Raiders, Moreau  immediately found a niche as a depth option in the passing attack. Appearing in 13 games while making seven starts, the tight end finished the season with 21 receptions for 174 yards and five touchdowns on 25 targets. Sadly, he landed on the injured reserve and could not complete the full season.

Moreau returned to the lineup in 2020, but saw a notably diminished role in the passing attack. Appearing in all 16 games but only making two starts, the LSU product finished the season with just seven receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets. Darren Waller had a season for the ages, and there apparently was not room for two pass-catching tight ends in that offense.

In 2021, the Raiders returned to using Moreau as a bigger part of their passing game. With Waller limited to just 11 games, Moreau stepped up and recorded 30 receptions for 373 yards and three touchdowns on 44 targets. The Raiders made their first playoff appearance since 2016 but ultimately fell to the eventual AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals.

Since signing his rookie contract, Foster Moreau has appeared in 62 games while making 34 starts. During his time on the field, the tight end has recorded 91 receptions for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns on 132 targets.
