In 2022, Meyers was one of the few bright spots in the New England Patriots passing attack. Serving as the unquestioned top option, the wideout finished the season with 67 receptions for 804 yards and a career-high six touchdowns on 96 targets while playing in 14 of a possible 17 games.

Meyers originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent. Signed out of North Carolina State, Meyers immediately made his case for the team with a strong preseason. The rookie made the Week 1 roster but spent the early parts of the season on the bench. In total, Meyers finished his rookie season with 26 receptions for 359 yards and no touchdowns on 41 targets.

Meyers began the 2020 season as a depth option until Julian Edelman’s injury opened up a path to playing time. With most of his production coming in the back half of the season, the wideout finished the year with 59 receptions for 729 yards and no touchdowns on 81 targets.

Meyers maintained his role in 2021 and had what was statistically the best season of his career. Serving as the security blanket for a rookie Mac Jones, Meyers finished his third season setting career highs in receptions (83), yards (866), and targets (126) while hauling in two touchdowns. The Patriots made it to the playoffs that season, and Meyers recorded six receptions for 40 yards on nine targets in their lopsided loss against the Buffalo Bills.

Throughout the course of his career, Jakobi Meyers has appeared in 60 regular season games while making 39 starts, all with New England. During his time on the field, the North Carolina State product has recorded 235 receptions for 2,758 yards and eight touchdowns on 344 targets.
