Center Garrett Bradbury entered the 2022 season as Minnesota’s starting center and held that role throughout the season. While injuries limited him to just 12 games, Bradbury played well when on the field, finishing the season with a 67.5 PFF grade, good for the 11th-best mark among 38 eligible players. The Vikings themselves had a phenomenal season, winning the NFC North with an impressive 13-4 record under first-year head coach Kevin O’Connell. Unfortunately, that success didn’t carry to the playoffs, as Minnesota fell in the Wild Card round to the New York Giants.

Garrett Bradbury originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Selected by the Minnesota Vikings, the North Carolina State product came into training camp and immediately won the starting job. Appearing in all 16 games, the rookie finished his inaugural season with a 58.1 PFF grade and notably struggled as a pass blocker. Still, the Vikings found a way to make it to the playoffs and even won a wild game against the New Orleans Saints.

Bradbury maintained the starting job in 2020 and showed some signs of improvement. Starting all 16 games, the center finished the year with a 61.4 PFF grade. However, despite his improvements, the Vikings took a step back and finished the year with a disappointing 7-9 record. The next season, injuries limited Bradbury to just 13 games, but he continued to show signs of growth. Additionally, he also had one of the most fun plays of the season, catching a 21-yard pass on a deflected ball. Despite this, the Vikings did not pick up the fifth-year option in his contract, making Garrett Bradbury a free agent following the 2022 season.
