The 33-year old wide receiver from Summerville, South Carolina has had an illustrious NFL career thus far. Green was named to the pro bowl as a rookie, when he caught 65 passes for 1057 yards with seven touchdowns. This earned him a nod to the pro bowl. Building upon his rookie season, Green emerged into a premier wide receiver in the NFL over the next two seasons. Over the next two seasons, Green averaged 1388 yards on over 97.5 receptions and 11 touchdowns. Green was a second-team all-pro receiver in both of these seasons, 2012 and 2013. The next two seasons were also excellent for Green, as he earned two more pro bowl nods, making it five-straight to begin his NFL career. But, in 2014, Green, unfortunately, missed the Bengals Wild Card game after suffering a concussion in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, Green battled numerous injuries as his career progressed. Despite getting off to a red-hot start to the 2016 season, including a magnificent hail-mary catch against the Cleveland Browns, Green suffered the first major injury of his NFL career. He tore his hamstring in Week 11, ending his 2016 campaign with just 964 yards. Then, in 2018, Green played in just nine games after battling a toe injury all season. Finally, Green missed the entire 2019 campaign with a high ankle sprain.

Returning to the Bengals in 2020, Green posted just 523 yards in Joe Burrow’s rookie season. After ten seasons with the Bengals, Green signed a one-year, $6 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals after the 2020 season. In 2021, despite receiving just 92 targets, a career-low in seasons where he played at least 10 games, Green had 54 catches for 848 yards on the high-octane Cardinals offense.

At 33 years of age, Green still offers value with his elite jump ball skills and well-rounded game that he displayed in 2021.
