Riley Reiff Signs Contract With Cincinnati Bengals

Riley Reiff was born on December 1st, 1988, in Parkston, South Dakota. Reiff was selected 23rd overall in the 2012 NFL Entry Draft by the Detroit Lions. The Lions signed Reiff to a four-year, $7.993 million entry-level contract. Reiff signed with the Vikings for five years and $58.75 million. The Vikings released Reiff on March 10th, 2021.

During the 2020-21 season in 15 games, Reiff had two fumble returns. Reiff; however, had one holding penalty. The Vikings placed Reiff on the COVID-19 list at the end of 2020. During the 2019-20 season in 15 games, Reiff had four holding and three false start penalties. The Vikings would lose to the San Fransisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs 27-10.

During the 2018-19 season in 13 games, Reiff had two holding penalties. Reiff left the week five game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to re-aggravating a foot injury. Reiff would miss three games. During the 2017-18 season in 15 games, Reiff had two false start penalties. The Vikings would lose to the Eagles in the NFC Conference Championships 38-7.

During the 2016-17 season in 14 games, Reiff had 2 holding penalties and one false start penalty. The Lions would lose in the NFC Wildcard Playoffs to the Seattle Seahawks 26-6. During the 2015-16 season in 16 games, Reiff had three holding penalties and one false start penalty. During the 2014-15 season in 15 games, Reiff had one fumble return. Reiff missed one game due to injury. The Lions would lose to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wildcard Playoffs 24-20.

During the 2013-14 season in 16 games, Reiff had one fumble return. Reiff; however, had one holding penalty and four false start penalties. During the 2012-13 season, Reiff played in 16 games, but only started in eight of them.

Reiff attended Iowa University and played for the Iowa Hawkeyes football program.
