Troy Hill headed into the 2021 free agency after having a season to remember for the Los Angeles Rams. Hill finished the year with 11 passes defended, he forced one fumble that he recovered for a twenty-yard touchdown and he recovered a further fumble. On top of that, he had three interceptions, giving him seven for his career. He got his first interception of the 2020 season in Week Two against the Philadelphia Eagles. An interception that helped secure the win against the NFC rivals.

In Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals, Hill secured his second interception of the year when he picked of Kyler Murray. Hill returned the interception for 35 yards and a defensive score. He then had to wait until the final week of the regular season for his final interception of the year. Again it came against the Cardinals. This time Troy Hill returned it 84 yards to the house and got his team a huge defensive score in a tight game.

Los Angeles had the best defense in the league and Troy hill was a big part of that. The cornerback only had one game where he didn’t play at least 90 percent of the defensive snaps.

Before the 2020 season, the Rams claimed Hill off waivers from the New England Patriots in 2015. Hill did not get his first start however until the 2016 season. A season-high 11-tackle start was a great way to get going for the Rams. Hill was part of the 2018 squad that made it to the Super Bowl and helped slow a Patriots team to only 13 points. Unfortunately, his offense couldn’t help the defense out and he had to settle for runner-up.

Troy Hill had a stellar 2020 season as his team made it to the divisional round of the playoffs. He will be a valuable member of his team.
