The fantasy football championships are almost here. Each week this column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent or less of Yahoo leagues. This group of players is basically a stream team. For reference, the threshold used for wins and losses in this article will be if a quarterback scores 15 plus points and if the rest sore 10 plus PPR points. Here is the fantasy football stream team for Week 16.

Fantasy Football Week 16 Stream Team

Quarterback – Mitchell Trubisky (CHI – 13%) @ JAX

This year has been a rollercoaster of a year for Mitchell Trubisky. After losing the starting job early in the year to Nick Foles Trubisky was moved back into the starting role and he’s been playing really well. Since the bye week, Trubisky has started four games and has thrown eight touchdowns to only three interceptions. Certainly, there’s been plenty of nice matchups along the way but that will continue this week when the Chicago Bears take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and their bottom-of-the-barrel pass defense. The Jaguars are bad all around but are dead last in passing EPA defense. They are also allowing the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks on the season. It may sound crazy, especially since he was benched earlier this season, but playing Trubisky this week may actually work out.

Honorable Mentions – Andy Dalton (DAL – 13%) v PHI, Tua Tagovailoa (MIA – 21%) @ LV

Running Back – Lynn Bowden Jr. (MIA – 24%) @ LV

The Miami Dolphins are really hurting for playmakers right now. They are down their top four passing game options at the moment, and it remains to be seen if any of them will return this week. In their absence, Lynn Bowden Jr. has taken advantage of his opportunity. He’s now scored at least nine PPR points in three straight games including double digit points in his last two. In the last two games Bowden Jr. has seen seven and nine targets respectively as the de facto playmaker for this Dolphins team. On Yahoo, he also has the nice bonus of being eligible at both wide receiver and running back. If Miami’s top playmakers aren’t able to suit up, Bowden should be able to continue to produce.

Honorable Mentions – Malcolm Brown (LAR – 17%) @ SEA, Ito Smith (ATL – 9%) @ KC

Wide Receiver – Nelson Agholor (LV – 50%) v MIA

What a career resurrection it has been for Nelson Agholor. He is likely going to finish this season with career highs across the board, or at least close to, and he’s been especially good of late. He’s scored at least 7.8 PPR points in five straight games now, including three games of double-digits and two of them over 20 points. Agholor has seen at least six targets in all five of those matchups and at least eight targets in four of the five. This week’s matchup against the Dolphins isn’t great but playing at home in a dome will help boost passing numbers. If he continues to see this type of volume, he could produce yet again.

Honorable Mentions – Keke Coutee (HOU – 41%) v CIN, Russell Gage (ATL – 26%) @ KC

Tight End – Tyler Higbee (LAR – 50%) @ SEA

Tyler Higbee finished last season by putting up historic numbers down the stretch and he is looking to finish strong again this season. He’s scored double-digit PPR points in two of his last three games. He has also been playing a higher snap count lately. This week Higbee gets to face off against the Seattle Seahawks. While the matchup isn’t great, Higbee was able to post his highest yardage total of the season against them in their last matchup.

Honorable Mentions – Jordan Akins (HOU – 4%) v CIN, Dalton Schultz (DAL – 19%) v PHI
