Fantasy Football Week 15 Defense Waiver Wire Streams

Fantasy Football Week 15 Defense Waiver Wire Streams: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, and Miami Dolphins should be good streaming options.
Defense Waivier Wire

14 weeks of NFL action are officially in the books, which means it’s time for the fantasy football playoffs. Whether you’re looking to take home a championship or just avoid coming in last, now is the time to pick up the best remaining defense on the waiver wire. Heading into Week 15, you should set your eyes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, and Miami Dolphins.

Note that in order to make this list, the defense had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you’re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nobody wants to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. The unit isn’t particularly talented and is prone to giving up big plays to opposing wide receivers. However, defensive performance is highly influenced by the opposing offense, and the Buccaneers have one of the easiest matchups in the league in Week 15. Tampa Bay takes on a Detroit Lions offense which simply cannot get out of its’ own way. After a somewhat impressive Week 13, David Blough went back to looking like an undrafted free agent in Week 14. Tampa Bay should be able to exploit this matchup and come away with a few turnovers.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks defense just got destroyed on national television, so recommending them as a streamer can appear a little questionable. However, Seattle faces a favorable matchup which should make them a decent play in Week 15. Kyle Allen mania is officially in the rear view, as the former undrafted free agent is getting exposed as nothing more than an above-average backup. The Seahawks should come away with a few turnovers and sacks while limiting points allowed.

Miami Dolphins

The theme of this article is banking on bad defenses holding up against putrid offenses. By just about every measure, the Miami Dolphins have one of the worst defenses in the league. However, it doesn’t take an elite unit to stop Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Manning looked washed about four years ago, and this time he won’t have Odell Beckham to bail him out in undesirable situations. Just about anyone could make this offense look bad, so the Dolphins should be a relatively safe play in Week 15.
