Fantasy Football Week 14 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Claims: Robby Anderson, Anthony Miller, More

Fantasy Football Week 14 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Claims: Robby Anderson and Anthony Miller are two of the top fantasy football wide receiver claims.
Robby Anderson

13 weeks of NFL action are officially in the books, which means it’s time for the fantasy football playoffs. Whether you’re looking to take home a championship or just avoid coming in last, now is the time to search the waiver wire for all the best available wide receivers. Heading into Week 14, you should set your eyes on Robby Anderson, Anthony Miller, Nelson Agholor, and Zach Pascal.

Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you’re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.

Robby Anderson

Week 13 was a nightmare for the New York Jets, but Robby Anderson still managed to produce against a bad Cincinnati Bengals secondary. Despite the low overall passing volume, Anderson still managed to finish with seven receptions for 101 yards. Anderson is a home-run hitter who only needs one play to be relevant for fantasy, and he’s finally starting to develop a rapport with Sam Darnold.

Nobody had a stranger 2019 than Sam Darnold, but he’s finally starting to show the ability which made so many fantasy players excited at the end of 2018. Darnold and Anderson face off a favorable matchup against a Miami Dolphins defense which can’t stop allowing big plays. Look for Anderson to put together another big game for your fantasy team.

Anthony Miller

Speaking of young receivers finally playing up to their hype, Anthony Miller has been on fire for the past three weeks. Since Week 11, Miller has recorded 21 receptions for 271 yards on 33 targets. This type of high-volume workload makes him a desirable add in all formats, but a must-grab in PPR formats. Mitchell Trubisky can’t throw every pass to Allen Robinson, and Miller has the ability to catch anything thrown his way and turn it into a big play. He’s still available in most leagues, but that won’t be the case at this point next week.

Nelson Agholor

Nelson Agholor has been one of the most frustrating players to watch this season. The former first-round pick has a bad case of drops and has allowed several key passes to slip through his hands throughout the season. However, he’s still receiving a reliable target share and will eventually start to haul in some of these passes. Agholor showed up on the Air Yards Buy Low model a few weeks back and has yet to have his breakout game. He’s long overdue for a big week, and Alshon Jeffery may not be 100% in Week 14. Jeffery suffered an injury on the penultimate play of Week 13’s loss to the Miami Dolphins, so Agholor could be the top option in the passing game. If he is, you can start him and hope for a long-overdue breakout.

Zach Pascal

If you are truly desperate, you can turn to Zach Pascal as a desperation play. As long as T.Y. Hilton stays sidelined, Pascal is going to see a high snap count. Whether he sees a high percentage of the targets is anyone’s guess. In Week 13, Pascal went off to the tune of seven receptions and 109 yards. This isn’t the first time he’s had a big game without Hilton, but he’s also had his fair share of bust performances. If you’re in a deep league and need a desperation dart throw, you could do worse than Pascal. However, you should probably aim for somebody with a higher floor before putting your faith in Pascal.
