Week 15 DraftKings

DraftKings players and fans – week 15 is your last chance at $1 million dollars. The final millionaire maker tournament of the season takes place and everyone wants a shot at the big prize. Below are the players you need to focus on to help make that dream become a reality.

Fantasy Spotlight: Week 15 DraftKings Targets

Quarterback

Drew Brees: New Orleans Saints vs New York Jets

Salary: $6,500

Fantasy owners and DFS players all over the world have been waiting for the “Drew Brees game”, will look for it this weekend against the New York Jets. The Jets are middle of the pack against opposing fantasy quarterbacks (18th) and with the New Orleans Saints returning home off a tough loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Brees explosion is ready to happen.

Ben Roethlisberger: Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots

Salary: $6,700

Big Ben is absolutely rolling right now. Over his last five games Ben Roethlisberger has 14 touchdowns and only four interceptions while averaging 336 yards passing per game. Game script against the New England Patriots should dictate a lot of passes for the future Hall of Famer, making him a very reliable DraftKings play this week.

Other Notables: Tom Brady $7,600, Tyrod Taylor $5,400 and Joe Flacco $5,100

Running Back

Christian McCaffrey: Carolina Panthers vs Green Bay Packers

Salary: $6,000

While there will be tons of hype for the return of Aaron Rodgers to the Green Bay Packers, Christian McCaffrey and the Carolina Panthers are looking to win another big NFC game. Last week was the Jonathan Stewart breakout, so look for McCaffrey to explode against a Packers defense ranked 28th against opposing running backs. McCaffrey will be heavily involved in the passing game this week, so those PPR points will be piling up for DFS players.

Kenyan Drake: Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills

Salary: $5,800

In 2015 Tim Hightower burst on the scene for fantasy owners to produce big numbers down the stretch. In 2017 that player is Kenyan Drake. Over the last three games the young running back has produced 12.7, 26.1, and 27.3 points per game in DraftKings. This week the Miami Dolphins travel to cold Buffalo to face a Buffalo Bills team ranked 31st against running backs. This is a prime spot for Drake to continue his late season fantasy explosion.

Other Notables: Le’Veon Bell $9,300, Giovani Bernard $5,300 and Jay Ajayi $5,000

Wide Receiver

Antonio Brown: Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots

Salary: $9,100

Every good DraftKings lineup needs a star to build around and this week the star is Antonio Brown. Don’t overthink this. There are going to be plenty of points scored in this game and while the Patriots will try to take Brown out of the game, it will be difficult with the presence of Le’Veon Bell and the return of JuJu Smith-Schuster. Pay up for Brown, it will be worth it.

Dede Westbrook: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans

Salary: $5,100

Just like Kenyan Drake, Dede Westbrook is emerging as a late season fantasy star with the Jacksonville Jaguars. With at least five receptions in his last three games Westbrook is taking the lead wide receiver role away from Marqise Lee. Blake Bortles trusts him and isn’t afraid to throw to him in key situations. At $5,100 Westbrook makes for a great value play this week in DraftKings.

Other Notables: Michael Thomas $7,400, Brandin Cooks $7,100 and Josh Doctson $3,800

Tight End

Benjamin Watson: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

Salary: $3,800

The Baltimore Ravens offense is heating up at the right time and despite being shutout last week against the Steelers, Benjamin Watson is a very good tight end play this week. The Cleveland Browns rank 30th against fantasy tight ends and back in week two Watson went for eight catches and 91 yards against Cleveland. Look for a similar stat line this week with a touchdown sprinkled in as well.

Zach Ertz: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

Salary: $6,000

Zach Ertz is back to full practice for the Philadelphia Eagles and that is a great sign for fantasy and DFS players. Ertz has been arguably the best fantasy tight end this season. The New York Giants are dead last against opposing tight ends and even with Nick Foles at the helm for the Eagles, Ertz will have a field day on Sunday.

Other Notables: Rob Gronkowski $7,300, Vernon Davis $3,900 and Ricky Seals-Jones $3,000

Defense

New Orleans Saints

Salary: $3,900

The Saints return home to face and beat up New York Jets offense. Josh McCown is out for the season meaning Bryce Petty will start. This is a spot where the Saints defense can make some noise and force a few turnovers and even get a defensive touchdown.

Minnesota Vikings

Salary: $3,500

The Vikings return home after a three-game road trip to face a Cincinnati Bengals team that is just going through the motions. Marvin Lewis is on his way out of town and they are banged up on both sides of the ball. This has all the makings of a huge effort by the Vikings defense.

Other Notables: Jacksonville Jaguars $4,500, Washington Redskins $2,800 and San Francisco 49ers $2,600
