Dallas Stars vs Buffalo Sabres

Head-to-Head: Stars 0-1 Sabres

How to Watch: US TV: Victory+, TNT, HBO Max, TruTV, MORE27. Canada TV: Sportsnet+

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our opening and featured game of NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars taking on the Buffalo Sabres. Both teams are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Many expected the Stars to make the playoffs. However, no one saw the Buffalo Sabres coming.

Jake Oettinger is the expected starter for the Stars. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Jason Robertson is tied with Wyatt Johnston for the team’s lead in goals with 45. However, Robertson has the most points on the team with 96.

Colten Ellis is the projected starter for the Sabres, who are the surprising Atlantic Division champions. It’s going to be a party-like atmosphere at KeyBank Center. Tage Thompson leads the team in goals (40), assists (41), and points (81) so far this season.

Both teams may rest players to get ready for the postseason. However, Buffalo ends the regular season on a high note.

Prediction: Sabres win 4-2.
