Florida Panthers vs Montreal Canadiens
Head-to-Head: Panthers 3-0 Canadiens

Our opening game of NHL predictions has the Florida Panthers trying to bounce back against the Montreal Canadiens. Florida is coming off a 6-4 loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. Anthony Stolarz is the expected starter with Sergei Bobrovsky playing the night before. However, always check social media before locking in daily fantasy starter. Sam Reinhart leads the team in goals with 52 while Matthew Tkachuk is first in assists with 57.
Sam Montembeault is the likely starter for the Canadiens, who are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games. Nick Suzuki has reached the 30-goal mark and Mike Matheson is tops in assists with 41. The Habs were shutout the last time out against the Carolina Hurricanes, but had won the last three games previous to that.
Florida is smarting after the loss to Toronto, but should bounce back against Montreal.
Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.
Ottawa Senators vs Minnesota Wild
Head-to-Head: Senators 1-0 Wild

The red-hot Ottawa Senators are coming into this game on a five-game winning streak. It may be too little too late for the Senators, but things are going well coming into this game with the Minnesota Wild. Joonas Korpisalo is the confirmed starter for Ottawa, which is giving the fan base some positives at the end of a bad season. Brady Tkachuk has 33 goals and 32 assists for the Senators. Ridly Greig has scored three goals over the last 10 games.
Minnesota is eight points off the final Western Conference Wild Card spot that’s held by the Los Angeles Kings. Marc-Andre Fleury is the expected starter for the Wild, who are 5-2-3 in the last 10 games. The Wild will be without Ryan Hartman, who will be serving a three-game suspension. Kirill Kaprizov has 37 goals and 45 assists for the Wild. Matthew Boldy has two goals and eight assists over the past 10 games.
Ottawa is coming in hot, but Minnesota is desperate for points.
Prediction: Wild win 4-3.
Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights
Head-to-Head: Canucks 1-1 Golden Knights
TV: Scripps; Sportsnet Pacific; ESPN+
Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Vegas Golden Knights hosting the Vancouver Canucks. Casey DeSmith is expected to get the start once again in goal while Thatcher Demko is still out injured. Vancouver is 6-3-1 in the last 10 and beat the Anaheim Ducks on Easter Sunday. Brock Boeser leads the team in goals with 38 while Quinn Hughes has a nice 69 assists. Elias Lindholm also missed Sunday’s games against the Ducks, so keep an eye on that situation.
Logan Thompson is the projected starter for the Golden Knights, who are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. Vegas has also won two consecutive games as it chases down the Edmonton Oilers for home ice in the first round. Jonathan Marchessault has hit the 40-goal mark this season and the injured Mark Stone still leads in assists with 37. Both Adin Hill and William Carrier missed the last game out for the Knights.
Both teams have reasons to win, but Vegas pulls out the victory.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 3-2.
