Impact of Carson Soucy Contract
Soucy looks like he’s finally putting things together. He won’t give you a lot of points, but he’s very good at his own of the ice. The 6-foot, 5-inch defenceman has a large frame and is a big body at 215 pounds. He can dish out some hits and was very strong during the Kraken’s surprising playoff push.
The veteran blueliner made $2.75 million per season in his last contract and should get a nice raise with this deal. He is starting to get his defensive game in order and is going to be a solid part of the team’s top four on the blueline.
