Hurricanes Looking Into Mark Scheifele Trade
Rumour:
The 30-year-old makes $6.125 million in this last year of his deal and has a modified no-trade clause. This would be a 10-team no-trade list, but Kitchener, Ontario native would probably love to go to a contender.
Can a Mark Scheifele Trade Happen?
Seth Jarvis and/or Martin Necas, and Brett Pesce could be involved in a trade coming back. However, there could be a larger deal involving Brenden Dillon and Ville Heinola swapping places. even mentioned that Jesperi Kotkaniemi could get a fresh start with the Jets. Carolina may not have a penchant for making big swings, but their hand may be forced.
Winnipeg may not realize it, but a rebuild is coming with the trio wanting a new start. However, the Jets may be able to mold their roster with some new players from these deals.
