Our second game of NHL predictions is a Central Division matchup between the Colorado Avalanche and the Winnipeg Jets. Scott Wedgewood is the likely starter for the Avalanche, who are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. This includes a three-game winning streak for the division leaders. Martin Necas has three goals and five assists for eight points in his last 10 games.

Connor Hellebuyck is the probable starter for the Jets, who are 5-3-2 in their previous 10 games. Winnipeg has won its last two games entering this divisional showdown. Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor are tied for the team’s lead in goals with 32.

The Jets have been playing better. However, Colorado should keep its momentum going.

Prediction: Avalanche win 3-2.
