Buffalo Sabres vs San Jose Sharks

Head-to-Head: Sabres 1-0 Sharks

How to Watch: US TV: MSG Buffalo; NBC Sports California; ESPN+. Canada TV: Sportsnet+.

Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our final game of NHL predications has the Buffalo Sabres continuing their western swing against the San Jose Sharks. Alex Lyon is the expected starter for the Sabres, who are 9-1 in their last 10 games. The Atlantic Division leaders are being paced by Tage Thompson and his 34 goals.

Alex Nedeljkovic is the probable starter for the Sharks, who are 5-3-2 in the previous 10 games. However, San Jose has dropped its last two games entering this matchup. The Sharks are one point off the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. Macklin Celebrini keeps putting up big numbers with 35 goals and 95 points.

Buffalo seems to be putting things together at the right time. The Sabres should continue their run.

Prediction: Sabres win 5-3.

Best Bets

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Panthers versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.

As far as individual props go, take Sam Bennett to score for Florida. On the Edmonton side of things, take Evan Bouchard to get a power-play point.
