Washington Capitals vs Boston Bruins

Head-to-Head: Capitals 0-1 Bruins

How to Watch: US TV: ABC; ESPN+. Canada TV: SN1; TVA Sports.

Time: 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

We open up NHL predictions with an afternoon matchup between the Washington Capitals and the Boston Bruins. Logan Thompson is the expected starter for the Capitals. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Washington is 6-4 in its previous 10 game but have dropped its last two games. The Capitals shockingly sent John Carlson to the Anaheim Ducks at the deadline. Alex Ovechkin leads the team in goals (24) and points (50) so far.

Jeremy Swayman is the projected starter for the Bruins, who are 5-2-3 in their last 10 games. However, Boston is coming off a loss to the Nashville Predators last time out. David Pastrnak is tops in assists (50) and points (72).

Both teams are trying to get back on track. However, Boston gets the victory in a matinee matchup.

Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.
