Montreal Canadiens vs Winnipeg Jets

Head-to-Head: Canadiens 1-0 Jets

How to Watch: US TV: ESPN+. Canada TV: RDS; Sportsnet

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

We open up NHL predictions with our featured game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets. Montreal is expected to give Sam Montembeault the start in this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Habs are 5-3-2 in the previous 10 games but lost to the Minnesota Wild in overtime on the Monday Night Hockey on Prime matchup. Nick Suzuki leads the team in assists (47) and points (65) so far for Montreal.

Connor Hellebuyck is the probable starter for Winnipeg, which is 4-3-3 in its last 10 games. However, the Jets are coming off a loss in their last time on ice. Winnipeg is trying to overturn a 3-2 shootout loss to Montreal on December 3. Mark Scheifele leads the team in goals (27), assists (40), and points (67) so far this campaign.

Hellebuyck is the type of goalie that can steal a game. However, Montreal has more firepower.

Prediction: Canadiens win 3-2.
