NHL Predictions: Dec 3 Winnipeg Jets vs Montreal Canadiens

Winnipeg Jets vs Montreal Canadiens

2024-25 Season Series: Jets 2-0 Canadiens

How to Watch:

U.S. TV: ESPN+

Canada TV: Sportsnet; RDS

Time: 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Our final and featured NHL prediction has the Jets trying to get back on track against the Montreal Canadiens. Winnipeg is 4-6 in the last 10 games and is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Sabres. That defeat reportedly led to a players-only meeting. Eric Comrie is expected to get the start while Connor Hellebuyck is still out injured. Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor are tied for the team’s lead in goals with 13.

Montreal is expected to give the start to Jakub Dobes for this game. The Habs are also struggling entering this matchup, with a 3-6-1 record in their last 10 games. This includes a pair of losses in their last two games. Nick Suzuki leads the club in assists (22) and points (30) so far this season.

Both teams are searching for a victory to get on track. However, the hosts should get the two points.

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-1.

Prop Bets of the Night

We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Jets versus the Candaiens is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.

As for individual props, take Gabriel Vilardi to get at least an assist in this game for Winnipeg. On the Montreal side of things, go with Ivan Demidov to get an anytime goal.
