Canada TV: SN West

Time: 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EDT)

Our second and final game of NHL predictions has the Calgary Flames visiting the Carolina Hurricanes. Dustin Wolf is the likely starter for the Flames, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Calgary has also taken wins in four of its last five games. Nazem Kadri leads the team in assists (16) and points (21), and he’s been in form with nine points in his last 10 games played.

Frederik Andersen is the probable starter for the Hurricanes, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. However, Carolina has dropped three of its last games entering this East versus West matchup. The Canes are 7-3-1 at the Lenovo Center so far this campaign. Seth Jarvis leads the Hurricanes in goals with 15, but Sebastian Aho is first in assists (16) and points (24) so far this season.

Calgary has been playing better as of late. However, Carolina should get the victory in this late Sunday afternoon matchup.

Prediction: Hurricanes win 5-2.

Prop Bets of the Night

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Capitals versus the Islanders is 5.5, and we like the under in this game.

As for individual props, go with Alex Ovechkin to get an anytime goal for Washington. On the New York side of things, take Anders Lee to record an assist.
