Head-to-Head: Jets 0-1 Hurricanes

How to Watch:

U.S. TV: Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+

Canada TV: TSN3

Time: 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EDT)

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Winnipeg Jets and the Carolina Hurricanes trying to stop their recent losing run. Thomas Milic could make his NHL debut, but Eric Comrie may get the start for the Jets. It’s been sledding without Connor Hellebuyck, with Winnipeg losing its last three games in a row. Mark Scheifele leads in goals (12) and points (29) for the Jets.

Frederik Andersen is the expected starter for the Hurricanes, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. However, Carolina has lost its last two games entering this matchup. Sebastian Aho is the leader in assists (15) and points (23) in a balanced attack for the Canes.

Winnipeg has to tread water while Hellebuyck is out. However, Carolina should pick up the win.

Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.

Prop Bets of the Night

We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to the opening game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Colorado versus Minnesota game is 6.5, and we like the over in this.

As for individual props, go with Joel Eriksson Ek to get an assists for the Wild. On the Avalanche side of things, take Cale Makar to get a power-play point.
