NHL Predictions

Florida Panthers vs Boston Bruins

Head-to-Head: Panthers 0-0 Bruins

TV: NESN, Bally Sports Florida

Our featured game of NHL predictions is a rematch of the shocking Eastern Conference first round series between the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins. Florida pulled off one of the most stunning upsets in post-season history. Sergei Bobrovsky is the projected starter, but always check social media before locking in a fantasy starter. Sam Reinhart is tops on the team with seven goals for Florida, which has won four out of its last five. The Cats have gotten over a slow start to play much better.

Linus Ullmark is likely to get the call in between the pipes for the Bruins, which bounced back from an overtime loss with a 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. David Pastrnak already has eight goals and has five assists for the B’s. However, Charlie McAvoy is leading the team in assist with six. Both teams are playing well in their last five games.

Boston will be motivated to put the bitter taste of last season’s loss. However, it should be a good game.

Prediction: Bruins win 4-3.

Seattle Kraken vs Tampa Bay Lightning

Head-to-Head: Kraken 0-0 Lightning

TV: Root Sports Northwest; Bally Sports Sun

The Seattle Kraken may have lost two straight, but have played better in those games. Philipp Grubauer is the penciled in starter, but Joey Daccord is making a case for more playing time. Seattle’s leading-scorer is Jared McCann with four and Vince Dunn has six assists.

Many had the Tampa Bay Lightning buried, but Jonas Johansson and the team have rallied. Johansson has two straight shutouts for the Bolts, who have won three of their last five. Tampa Bay’s power play continues to roll along at fourth-best in the league with a 32.1-percent success rate. Nikita Kucherov has six goals while Victor Hedman has eight assists for the Lightning.

Tampa continues to play well despite injuries and will do so tonight.

Prediction: Lightning win 5-2.

Columbus Blue Jackets vs Dallas Stars

Head-to-Head: Blue Jackets 0-0 Stars

TV: Bally Sports Ohio; Bally Sports Southwest

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Columbus Blue Jackets looking to get back on the winning track against the Dallas Stars. Elvis Merzlikins is the unconfirmed starter for the Jackets, who have three straight losses. However, two of those setbacks have been in overtime. Captain Boone Jenner leads the team in goals with four while Ivan Provorov is tops in assists with six.
