Both teams have great forward groups capable of scoring. Jack Eichel, Reilly Smith, and Mark Stone lead the way for Vegas, whereas Kevin Fiala, Anze Kopitar, and Gabriel Villardi get it done for Los Angeles. One player to really watch for is Chandler Stephenson who leads the team in points, and has four in his last five games.

The major key in this one could come down to the goaltending. Vegas has the better tandem in the league as they rank 9th overall in team save percentage. All-star nominee Logan Thompson is a large part of that.

Prediction: Golden Knights defeat Kings 4-3

Boston Bruins vs San Jose Sharks

Head to Head: Bruins 0-0 Sharks

Tonight’s second game on the NHL Predictions is a interconference matchup. The Boston Bruins continue their California road trip as they take on the San Jose Sharks. Boston is coming off an impressive 5-2 victory thanks to Trent Frederic. San Jose has gone 1-3 in their last four games.

The Bruins are the much more superior team, however there is one aspect of this game thagnis closer than most think. Special team’s play is something to watch for. San Jose owns the second-best penalty kill, whereas Boston has the fourth-best power play unit. Boston also has the best penalty kill in the league. In the end, the superior team will reign Supreme.

Prediction: Bruins defeat Sharks 4-2

Colorado Avalanche vs Edmonton Oilers

Head to Head: Avalanche 0-0 Oilers

Tonights featured matchup on the NHL Predictions is a juicy one. The Colorado Avalanche take on the Edmonton Oilers. Star power and big names is exactly what this game is all about.

The star power up front alone is enticing. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Nathan MacKinnon, and Miko Rantanen are the elite. You also cant forget about Cale Makar on the back end.

This game is important as both teams are clinging on to playoff spots. Colorado is finally getting healthy again and Edmonton is largely being carried by their entire top six unit.
