One of the more elite teams in the Western Conference is the St. Louis Blues. After winning the Stanley Cup in 2019, they still are cup contenders. Unfortunately the team lost goalie Ville Husso to the Detroit Red Wings. But, To maintain that status they inked Nick Leddy and Robert Thomas to contract extensions. While the core they have locked is locked in place, another key part is waiting in the wing. Jordan Kyrou has a contract extension.

The young forward has signed an eight-year deal worth $65 dollars. This is perfect for him and the club in the future. The average cap hit will be $8.125 million per season.

Jordan Kyrou has signed a contract extension. The young forward has established himself as key piece to the team. After netting 35 points in 55 games he exploded this past season. He set career highs in every category with goals (27), assists (48), and points (75). Kyrou contributed to the power play with 19 points and finished with a CF% of 52%.

Looking to build off a stellar campaign, Kyrou is young, and a building block for the club is going forward.

This is great for the Blues. With the uncertainty surrounding the future of winger Vladimir Tarasenko, Kyrou getting liked up solidifies the top six units.
