Beaulieu originally sustained the against the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 23rd. Beaulieu sustained the injury after blocking a shot with his right hand in the second period. He left the game and did not return.

Beaulieu is expected to be out at least seven to 10 days with the injury.

Rough Start to the Season for Beaulieu

It’s been a rough start to the 2019-20 season for Nathan Beaulieu. He was injured in the final pre-season game which cost him the entire month of October. Beaulieu returned to the Jets line up on November 5th and played nine games before sustaining yet another injury. While there is no telling how long he will be out, it’s another tough blow to a Jets team who are also without Dmitry Kulikov for Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings. Kulikov was injured in the first period of Friday night’s game against the Anaheim Ducks.

With Beaulieu out, Schilling was recalled from the Manitoba Moose. In 22 games with Moose, Schilling has scored four goals and added seven assists for 11 points. He was signed by the Jets in 2017 and made his debut with the club last season registering one assist in four games.
