The 4th Line Hockey Podcast #160 – Seattle Arena, Vatanen/Henrique Trade

Last Word on Hockey presents our hockey podcast, The 4th Line Hockey Podcast. Coming from Calgary, AB and Nanaimo, BC, Carl and Joel provide their own unique and fun view of hockey. Every week the guys share their thoughts on the news of the week, have a variety of guests from the world of hockey as well as spending some time in segments like Joel’s Counselling Couch, The Rant Shack, and The Hot Seat.

The guys are back and Christmas songs everywhere have them in a holiday mood. It’s short-lived as Joel is offended that someone suggests that he may become a Calgary Flames fan. Should you cheer for the team from the city you live in?

Yesterday, the Seattle city council approved Seattle Arena renovation plan. The guys talk about how quick Gary Bettman will bring a team to the Pacific Northwest.

Both agree that the New Jersey Devils won the trade Sami Vatanen/Adam Henrique with the Anaheim Ducks. They are also getting worried about the Anaheim Ducks and their playoff hopes.

Three playoff teams from last year are struggling and there is concern shown if Chicago Blackhawks, Minnesota Wild and Anaheim Ducks will make the playoffs or not.
