Where Does This Leave Arsenal’s Top Four Hopes?
Arsenal’s next Premier League fixture will be on Saturday April 9 against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Gunners are currently sat in fifth place, level on points with their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. Mikel Arteta’s side do have a game in hand over Spurs and will hope to climb back into fourth place if they can beat Brighton. However, Tottenham will play later that day and will have the chance to move back into a top four spot.
Arsenal have a busy fixture schedule coming up in April including ties against Chelsea and Manchester United. Both of these sides are challenging Arsenal in hopes to secure a top four spot come the end of the season.
Thomas Partey has started 24 league games for Arsenal so far this season. He’s been one of Arteta’s main choices in midfield and Arsenal’s chances of getting top four will heavily rely on his return. The club will hope he can return from this injury as soon as possible as he is an irreplaceable player in Arteta’s Gunners side attempting to reach European heights once more.
