Three Midfielders to Transfer in Ahead of FPL Gameweek 13

Bukayo Saka – Arsenal (vs West Ham United) – £10.2 Million

The Gunners feel like they’re getting back on track after their second consecutive win on Tuesday, as they put five past Sporting Lisbon in their own backyard in the Champions League. Five different scorers got themselves on the scoresheet and Bukayo Saka was one of them, dispatching a penalty to make it six goals in all competitions for the season.

This weekend, he and Arsenal come up against a West Ham side who just beat Newcastle at St. James’ Park as they look to claim another big scalp.

Dejan Kulusevski – Tottenham (vs Fulham) – £6.3 Million

Dejan Kulusevski is slowly becoming one of Tottenham’s most important players this season, as his performance in his side’s 4-0 win at Manchester City last weekend was one that proved just how crucial he can be going forward. Granted, City are going through a mid-life crisis of sorts at the moment, but rarely do they ship four at home with the players they have at their disposal.

Kulusevski is seemingly a favourite of Ange Postecoglou, the Swede playing 90 minutes in all but three league matches this season and with the way he is performing, that run will likely continue this weekend against a Fulham side who fell to a shock 4-1 home defeat against Wolves last weekend.

On 47 FPL points for the season already, banking on Kulusevski to increase that number this Sunday wouldn’t be the worst idea and for just £6.3 million, bringing him in before a potential price increase is definitely worth the risk.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – Nottingham Forest (vs Ipswich Town) – £5.4 Million

Nottingham Forest produced their worst performance of the season last weekend as they were defeated 3-0 by Arsenal. It was also the second consecutive time this season they conceded more than two goals in a game after their 3-1 defeat to Newcastle on November 10, as their impressive defensive record this campaign took a brutal hit.

This gameweek gives Forest an opportunity to bounce back as they face an Ipswich side who sit 18th, despite their impressive 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.

Despite his lack of output this season, Callum Hudson-Odoi is still a player who can create something out of nothing as he showed at the start of the campaign when Forest set their stall out as a team to watch early on.
