The Romanian centre-back’s agent, however, has put all the speculations to the best to insist that his mindset is currently to thrive for Ange Postecoglou’s side. Florin Manea told Telecarpi: “We are focused on Tottenham, where he still has five years left on his contract. It’s not easy to go to a top club and make an impact right away, he’s still 22 years old. It’s normal that evaluations will be made if he never plays, but he won’t move in January. We’ll re-evaluate in June.”
How Has Dragusin Performed This Season?
After only making nine appearances for the Lilywhites across all competitions in the second half of the 2023/24 term after joining following his signing Genoa in January 2024, Dragusin has started to get some more playing time this time around. He has already made as many appearances in the first few months of the 2024/25 campaign, which includes starting their last two Premier League games.

Spurs have only kept one clean sheet in the matches in which Dragusin has been featured, even though he performed really well in the 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Carabao Cup and the 4-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League. The 22-year-old centre-back needs to be more consistent in churning out high-quality performances to keep a place for himself in Postecoglou’s long-term plans and move either Cristian Romero or Micky van de Ven out of the lineup.
