Bayern Munich Predicted Lineup Vs Holstein Kiel
How Bayern Munich Have Lined Up Recently
Bayern began their previous game against SC Freiburg in an unusual tactical formation. Manuel Neuer was in goal. Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-jae, and Raphael Guerreiro made up the back three. Joshua Kimmich took up the holding midfield role next to Aleksandar Pavlovic, as Serge Gnabry and Mathys Tel played on the wings.

Meanwhile, Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala were positioned in the playmaker roles behind lone striker Harry Kane.
In terms of personnel changes, coach Vincent Kompany took out Sacha Boey and Alphonso Davies to bring in Guerreiro and Tel in what was a much more offensive-minded lineup than in the prior match in Wolfsburg.
Bayern Munich Recent Form and Tactics
The team have won all three of their competitive games so far this season. Despite that, the dominance that Bayern have shown in previous campaigns isn’t quite there yet. However, given that there are new coaching staff and a few new players, this will take time. The real test will come with the return of Champions League action, with the team having to play two matches per week.

Tactically, the 3-4-2-1 worked well last time out, but the international break left Kompany without the core of his squad and little time to continue practicing in that setup. Maybe the coach will return to the familiar 4-2-3-1 formation this time around.
He could however use the 3-4-2-1 to break down deep defences in the future. Kiel have been used to being dominant in Bundesliga 2, and have not yet adjusted their playing style to the top tier.
Bayern Munich Injuries to Consider
Fortunately, Bayern went through the international break without new injuries. Kompany revealed in the pre-match press conference that Leroy Sané will be fit for the match. Therefore, only Josip Stanisic, Hiroki Ito, and backup keeper Daniel Peretz remain out.
