Chelsea Confirmed Lineup vs Servette in Europa Conference League
Chelsea Team News
Filip Jorgensen takes back over goalkeeping duties. Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarbioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Renato Veiga make up the back line. Marc Guiu leads the line with Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk starting on the wings.
Enzo Fernandez, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Christopher Nkunku will set up as the midfield three with the Argentine likely playing as the deepest lying of the trio alongside an inverting Veiga.
Substitute options include Robert Sanchez, Marcus Bettinelli, Marc Cucurella, Levi Colwill, Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Tyrique George, and Josh Acheampong
Notable Changes
Another wholesale swap from Maresca with the majority of his eleven being changed as Jorgensen takes cup and European duties from Sanchez. The back four/three experiment is here to stay with Veiga likely inverting into midfield.
Caicedo gets a rest which will push the midfield to see how players fit into some of the newer roles like Fernandez operating as the deepest of the three.
There’s some firepower off the bench if necessary with Palmer and Jackson on hand even with the slightly depleted squad. There could also be some competitive minutes for George who was seen on the wing during pre-season and could replace Mudryk or Madueke during the match.
