Filip Jorgensen starts in goal. Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarbioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Renato Veiga line up in a back four that could shift into a back three if Veiga inverts,

Moises Caicedo is starting as the deepest midfielder with Kiernan Desbury-Hall as the standard CM while Christopher Nkunku will play as the hybrid CM/CAM.

Pedro Neto makes his first start on the right wing while Mykhailo Mudryk is on the left and young Marc Guiu is the striker.

Robert Sanchez, Marcus Bettineli, Levi Colwill, Malo Gusto, Marc Cucurella, Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Nicolas Jackson make up the substitutes bench.

Notable Changes

Maresca rings out the changes with an almost entirely new eleven. Nkunku moves inside to a more central role after being on the left against Manchester City. This setup will likely be more akin to the early pre-season with Neto and Mudryk providing width while Disasi tucks in from right back to make a back three. Veiga will invert to form defensive midfield pairing with Caicedo.
