Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Sevilla in Pre-Season Test
How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently
Liverpool have lined up with a 4-2-3-1 under Arne Slot on their pre-season tour of the USA.
Caoimhin Kelleher has started in goal, with Conor Bradley and Kostas Tsimikas the full-backs. Jarell Quansah has started at centre-back, joined by Sepp van den Berg or Ibrahima Konate. Curtis Jones started both matches, joined in the double-pivot by Dominik Szoboszlai against Arsenal and Ryan Gravenberch against Manchester United. Harvey Elliott has started in the ten role.

The front-three has been unchanged with Fabio Carvalho on the left, Mohamed Salah on the right, and Diogo Jota down the middle. However, many starters from last season didn’t go on the USA tour due to extended breaks following their involvement in international tournaments. These stars are now available to start against Sevilla and will likely do so.
Liverpool’s Recent Form and Tactics
Liverpool comfortably dismantled Manchester United 3-0 in their previous match. Slot’s tactics appear to be working very well, with the Red Devils mostly limited to potshots and low-quality chances. Erik ten Hag’s side took 18 shots but had no big chances, whilst Liverpool took nine but had four.
Surprisingly, a lot of their threat came via Kostas Tsimikas. The Greek left-back took their most shots and none of his teammates had more touches in the box than him. He was rewarded with a tap-in from two yards from a rebound, which pays testament to the great positions in which Tsimikas got himself into.

Both of the other goalscorers were well deserved too: Jones and Carvalho have been standout performers on this tour. The former has been solid in defensive midfield, whilst the latter also bagged against Arsenal and is set to join Brentford off the back of a great pre-season.
Liverpool Injuries and Absentees to Consider Ahead of Sevilla Clash
All of the stars that were absent from the USA tour are now available, and we expect them to start against Sevilla with the Premier League kicking off next weekend.
