Jorgensen would join new Blues signings such as defender Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United. Wiley, who is 19-years-old, joined the Blues on a six-year deal for around £8.5m. Wiley has made 85 appearances for Atlanta scoring six goals with his last coming in the US Open Cup against Charlotte Independence. Chelsea have also previously been linked to Victor Osimhen, and with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Osimhen’s move to Paris Saint-Germain is “not advancing after recent talk”, it may open the door for the Blues, who had been previously linked to the Napoli striker after they won Serie A two seasons ago, as the Italian side look to buy Romelu Lukaku in return.
