The journalist claims that the 24-year-old midfielder is one of the major names in Atletico’s summer transfer wish list. Romano adds that this will not be an easy deal to secure for the Spanish club because Gallagher’s valuation is still quite expensive for them but that their “interest is genuine”.
Gallagher has had questions revolving over his long-term future at Chelsea all through the course of the last year. He has still not been able to agree on a contract extension, and his current deal is going to expire in 2025. Tottenham Hotspur reportedly had an interest in signing the English midfielder but have not made any move for him in the summer window, having signed Alfie Gray from Leeds United instead.

How Much Will Chelsea Want To Sell Conor Gallagher For?
Fabrizio Romano had stated earlier in the transfer window that the Blues are not going to let their youth academy graduate go for cheap. He had reported that the London heavyweights are ready to ask for a fee in excess of £50 million to sell the hard-working midfielder after having received that kind of amount for selling Mason Mount to Manchester United last summer.
