This is a Spain predicted lineup for their Euro 2024 Quarter-Final clash with Germany. La Roja have been exceptional so far in this tournament, winning all four matches and shipping just one goal in that time. They now come up against a tough host nation and will have some questions to answer.
Spain Predicted Lineup vs Germany
How Spain Have Lined Up Recently
After achieving qualification early, Luis de la Fuente had the luxury of rotating for the final group match which means the majority of the squad has been given a start. The first choice lineup is clear, however, with Unai Simon being the first option in goals. David Raya is his deputy and looked good in his one appearance.

The full-backs are Dani Carvajal and Marc Cucurella with the only slight doubts in the entire eleven being at centre-back. Aymeric Laporte and Nacho both missed fixtures due to some slight injuries meaning they as well as Robin Le Normand and Dani Vivian have all got starts there. Jesus Navas and Alex Grimaldo have also come in as the widebacks.

The midfield trio of Rodri, Pedri, and Fabian Ruiz is the go-to with them being replaced by Dani Olmo, Mikel Merino, and Martin Zubimendi on one occasion. Alvaro Morata has been leading the line with Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams on the wings. The trio of Joselu, Ferran Torres, and Mikel Oyarzabal have been used once as starters.
Spain Recent Form and Tactics
The Spanish team have been one of the best at the tournament so far. Their 4-3-3 system appears to get the best out of their players as they can keep possession and break down defences. They have had a goalscoring touch at times, while at others they’ve only managed to put one in the net.

Defensively, La Roja have impressed. They made it through the group stage with clean sheets across the board and it was only a Le Normand own goal that saw them concede in their dominant win over Georgia. Things have clicked for this squad so far with each performance looking better than the last.
Spain Injuries to Consider
De la Fuente will have a full selection to pick from as there are no major injuries. Laporte and Nacho may have lingering issues but they’ll likely be a late decision.
Spain Predicted Lineup vs Germany
There is one big question going into this one as Germany are the toughest opposition that Spain have faced so far. The left-back spot has looked like Cucurella’s to lose but in a game like this where things are more even it may be safer to leave him out in favor of someone like Grimaldo.
