This is a Spain predicted lineup as they try to extend their unbeaten run with a win over Georgia in the round of 16. After romping through the group stage and rotating for their final clash with Albania, the squad is well-rested and prepared to keep the good run going.
Spain Predicted Lineup vs Georgia at Euro 2024
How Spain Have Lined Up Recently
Thanks to their rotation in the group, a full complement of 22 players have started for the nation in this tournament. David Raya came in and kept a clean sheet but Unai Simon is the first choice goalkeeper. In defence, Marc Cucurella, Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand and Aymeric Laporte are the preferred back four. Alex Grimaldo, Jesus Navas, Nacho, and Dani Vivian can deputise if needed.

Pedri, Rodri, and Fabian Ruiz are the preferred midfield trio. Martin Zubimendi, Dani Olmo, and Mikel Merino started against Albania but will likely return to the bench this time around.
The attacking trio of Alvaro Morata, Lamine Yamal, and Nico Williams has proven to be a hit with the energetic young wingers lighting things up so far. Yamal especially went in as one to watch for Spain and has delivered on the big stage. All three are rested and ready after being replaced by Ferran Torres, Joselu, and Mikel Oyarzabal in the last outing.
As we reach the knockout stages, it is best to revert to the strongest starting lineup where possible. Despite some of the bench players impressing, we’re likely to see normal order restored with the Italy/Croatia starters likely regaining their places in the team.
Spain Recent Form and Tactics
Luis de la Fuente has set up in a 4-3-3 formation and it has worked a treat. Easy destructions of Northern Ireland and Andorra showed what the squad was capable of. They then rocked up to Euro 2024 and steamrolled through their group without conceding a single goal.

The Spanish side have only let in one singular strike in their last five outings and haven’t been kept scoreless since a 1-0 defeat to Colombia in March. They have hit form at the right time and will be hoping to continue their strong run when they take on Georgia.
Spain Injuries to Consider
De la Fuente is expected to have a full squad available to him. The only potential worry is that Le Normand, Carvajal and Vivian are one booking away from serving a suspension that would see them miss the quarter-final stage. There are no such suspension issues for this picture with nobody sidelined.
