Spain Predicted Lineup vs Italy for June 20

Spain manager Luis De la Fuente during a press conference

This is a Spain predicted lineup for their second group stage outing as they take on Italy. A strong 3-0 win over Croatia makes this a stress free tie as a loss won’t send them packing, but a win would all but guarantee top spot in the group.

How Spain Lined Up Recently

The opening day squad should give some indication what the strongest eleven is for the 2012 European Champions. Rodri, Pedri, and Fabian Ruiz made up the midfield trio while veteran presence Alvaro Morata started as the striker. Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal started as the wingers, providing youthful energy and bags of talent out wide.

Spain Recent Form and Tactics

What will appeal to Spanish fans is their recent goalscoring touch, they put three past a strong team last time out and absolutely blitzed Northern Ireland and Andorra, putting five past each. They also netted three times against a strong Brazilian team back in March.

Spain Injuries to Consider

Rodri and Morata were both taken off in the second half due to different issues but they appear to be fine. Aymeric Laporte missed the opener with a small issue and could remain rested here as the manager eyes up bigger matches down the line.
