The Italian journalist revealed that West Ham have aconcrete interestin Soulé. This is the second “wonderkid winger that the club have been linked with this summer after Romano gave the Here we go on Luis Guilherme.

Romano continued explaining that the player could leave Juventus if there is animportant proposal this summer”.However,all options are still open”.

He reports that West Ham have been monitoring Soulé in the Italian top flight this season.

Previous Interest

In January, Al Ittihad had offered €30 million to Juventus and ahuge salary,but the player rejected this as he wanted to stay in Europe.

Already this summer, the selling club have reportedly set a £34 million price tag on Soulé, with top teams like Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, and Roma interested.

He has caught the eye of other English teams like Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Crystal Palace.

Who is Matias Soulé?

Soulé is a versatile forward capable of playing on either wing or centrally. At just 21 years old, he is highly valued. The Argentina U20 player joined the Juventus academy in 2020. Playing in 19 matches for the first team in 2022/23, he scored his first-ever Serie A goal.

He spent a very successful year on loan at Frosinone – making 36 Serie A starts, scoring an admirable 11 goals, and making three assists. Soulé completed the most successful dribbles in the league, narrowly beating esteemed wingers like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Rafael Leão.

Soulé actually has both Argentinian and Italian heritage, meaning we could see him turning out for Gli Azzurri in the next few years. Luciano Spalletti (Italian head coach) has even expressed interest.
