Ben Pringle Interview

His Playing Experiences:

Firstly, we talked about his experiences with different teams. When asked about his best and most challenging experiences:

“They were all different and good experiences in their own way. Derby was my first professional club after dropping from an academy. Going back to playing in the Championship and getting an opportunity to play was massive for me. Definitely, it was one of the best experiences I had. Then my time at Rotherham, where we went from League 2 to the Championship with back-to-back promotions. It was a special time in my career. Regarding the most difficult experience, I would say Preston. I wasn’t playing and wasn’t involved at all. So in different aspects, that was probably the toughest.”

His Time With Derby County:

“Yeah, for me it was unbelievable because coming from non-league and going to play for such an important club in that great stadium was very huge for me. Definitely, it was one of my favorite parts of my career, which I often look back on, and I wish that someday I can go back to.” her remarked upon being asked about being part of such a historical institution.

His time At Fulham:

LWOF enquired about Pringle’s time with Fulham where he dealt with a managerial carousel: “Yes, it was good, and of course, I was delighted to move to Fulham. It was completely different from where I played before. It was a bit difficult at the start because, in that season, we had four managers in five months. I think it was probably the wrong time to sign there. For me personally, it was a very good signing because I learned a lot there, but the club was having a difficult period at that time.”

His Thoughts About the Ipswich Town Success Story and Their Coach Kieran McKenna:

As a former player of Ipswich Town, we talked about the great season the team had leading to promotion to the Premier League and the excellent job Kieran McKenna has done, now that he’s one of the most talked about managers in English football:

“Yes, of course, they did very well. Nobody at the beginning thought they would achieve the great results they did through a beautiful style of playing. Huge credit goes to their coach, Kieran. I am sure the fans enjoyed this season a lot, watching their team play that way. It is worth mentioning that they have great organization. Their stadium and training ground are amazing. Also the fans are unbelievable.”

The season and performances of Fulham in the Premier League:

We also spoke with the midfielder about Fulham’s season in the Premier League: “Yes, for me, they did well this season. In the past, when they returned to the Premier League, they were one of the favorites to go down again, but it seems they have passed this phase and are now a stable club in the Premier League. They have an owner who is always willing to invest to improve the team, which is a very important factor in football nowadays. I hope they can continue like this and get better every year.”

Ben’s Time in Dubai and His Thoughts About the Future of Football There & in Saudi Arabia:

Now, the English midfielder is playing in Dubai. He shared more about his experience there and his thoughts about the football situation in that country: “First of all, it has been an unbelievable experience for me playing in Dubai, and I am loving every second of it. The fact that I am playing in an English brand team has helped. They have started a serious project related to football, and I think it’s completely different from China some years ago. They are going to invest and build more and more every season. I am sure we will see more and more players coming to Saudi Arabia to play.”

His Thoughts About the Premier League 2023/2024 Season:

“Yes, it has been a very tough season, and the fact that two teams fought until the last second made the league even more beautiful this season. Apart from that, I am a Newcastle fan. For us, it has been different from last season. I hope we will come back stronger next season. At the bottom, I have liked Luton a lot because they played an attacking style of football, and nobody thought they would have these kinds of performances.”

Hs Opinion About the England National Team and the Chances of Winning the Euros:

Finally, we spoke about the recent performances of the England national team and their chances of winning the Euros: “I would like to think we have a good chance of winning the Euros, but we say this every time and fall short. I think that picking the correct starting eleven is going to be the key. Gareth has some important decisions to make. We have great players with a perfect balance between experienced ones and young talented ones. In the end, I am very positive about it. But let’s see what will happen.”
