Tottenham Hotspur have had a disappointing end to their first season under Ange Postecoglou and are currently on a four-game losing streak in the Premier League. Amid all this, it seems like the manager is going to get support from the club hierarchy in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Which Areas Of Spurs Squad Does Ange Postecoglou Want To Be Improved?
The Times reports that the Lilywhites are planning to make three major signings in the 2024 summer window to significantly improve the quality of the squad. It’s added that players who can suit the style of play implemented by Postecoglou will be considered by the club for a potential transfer.

The report mentions that Tottenham are looking to prioritize the signing of three key players, which is that of a striker, a new midfielder as well as a new centre-back to strengthen the areas of their team. Spurs are, of course, reportedly yet to make a final decision on whether or not they want to sign Timo Werner permanently from RB Leipzig after his loan spell is over.
Tottenham have failed to find a proper like-for-like replacement for Harry Kane after selling him to Bayern Munich for a record amount. Despite signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa in the winter transfer window, Postecoglou still wants a new proactive centre-back to add more reliability to his backline.
The Lilywhites are yet to finalize the exact players they want to sign, as they’re more focused on ending the 2023/24 season on a high note.
Which Tottenham Players Could Be Sold By Postecoglou?
The Times also mentions that Tottenham are aiming to sell a number of their first-team players in the summer window. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who was constantly linked to an exit last summer, is in line to be sold alongside Ryan Sessegnon and Emerson Royal.
Moreover, it is added that even Richarlison and Yves Bissouma might be offloaded by the club.

However, Tottenham are only likely to sell Bissouma and Richarlison for the right price and if a major bid comes their way. The Brazilian forward, who was hailed for his “unbelievable” ability to address his mental health issues earlier this season, has not exactly been able to prove himself as an ideal Harry Kane replacement, even though he has scored 12 goals in 31 games across all competitions.
With that being said, it’s clear that Tottenham are planning to have a busy summer window ahead and will push hard to fill those areas of their team to help them lodge a stronger challenge for the Premier League top-4 place next season.
