How Arsenal Have Lined up Recently

Mikel Arteta rarely messes with a winning formula and we could see an unchanged side against Erik ten Hag’s side.

Club captain Martin Odegaard and record signing Declan Rice have started every game in midfield this season when available. Thomas Partey has taken over from Jorginho as the holding midfielder and has started the last four games for the Gunners.

Arsenal Recent Form and Tactics

Arteta has stuck with a 4-3-3 formation this season which sees the full-backs invert into the midfield while in possession. No matter the personnel, the Spanish manager prefers to play this style of football which allows for an extra player in midfield. Tomiyasu will likely invert from his left-back slot to play alongside Partey.

When this setup, Rice is given a license to roam further up the field. When Jesus plays as the striker, he allows the wide players to cut in and attack the opposition goal, while Havertz plays more as a target-man for the Gunners.

Arsenal Injuries to Consider

Arsenal currently have no players out with injuries. Jurrien Timber the long-term absentee has also started training with the first team.
