Meanwhile, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Konrad Laimer, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, and Raphael Guerreiro were out of the team. The main reason for these changes was to manage players’ time on the pitch, thus reducing the risk of further injuries.

The side are on a three-match winning streak and a four-match unbeaten run in all competitions. Squad management and rotation in these domestic fixtures will be the key to keeping the side fresh and ready for Real Madrid.
