Bayern Munich Women Predicted Lineup vs VfL Wolfsburg Women
How Bayern Munich Women Have Lined Up Recently
The Bavarians began their solid 5-0 victory over league newcomers RB Leipzig Women with Maria Luisa Grohs in goal. Meanwhile, Giulia Gwinn and Katharina Naschenweng played in the outside back positions, as captain Glodis Viggosdottir was the starting centre-back next to Linda Sembrant.
Sarah Zadrazil and Georgia Stanway have been the go-to holding midfield duo. Klara Bühl, Pernille Harder, Jovana Damnjanovic and Lea Schüller made up the front four.

Coach Alexander Straus has rotated his squad very little all this season, much like the previous term as well. He has a core of players that he believes in, while usually only changing his front four from time to time. Sydney Lohmann and Linda Dallmann tend to find their way into the team in that case.

Before her injury in December, Magdalena Eriksson was a regular starter next to Viggosdottir in the centre of defence. She has since recovered and played the last half hour against Leipzig, after her return to the squad. Apart from that though, there are hardly ever any changes in the lineup. In the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the team failed to finish off opponents, especially after Ericksson’s injury, when Tuva Hansen was asked to play out of position in central defence, due to Sembrant having been ineligible to play in the group stage of the competition.
Bayern Munich Women’s Recent Form and Tactics
After that highly unfortunate Champions League exit with four draws in the six group matches, the side has returned to form, winning their last seven games in the domestic league and cup combined. With everything going so well ahead of the big game, there is little need to change either personnel or the 4-2-3-1 formation.
The game will see Wolfsburg’s 45-goal attack go up against Bayern’s top defence, which has conceded only five in their previous 16 league encounters.
Bayern Munich Women Injuries to Consider
There are several long-term injuries in the team. Namely, those of Weronika Zawistowska, backup keeper Cécilía Rán Rúnarsdóttir, as well as youngster Ana Maria Guzmán. Meanwhile, Tainara is still out through illness, as Franziska Kett remains sidelined by muscular issues as well. Finally, Carolin Simon has recovered from her torn ACL but will need several weeks to regain match fitness.
