Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all reported to be keen on Real Madrid star, Rodrygo. The Brazilian, who joined the Spanish giants in a £34 million deal in 2019, has been a key component of the team’s attacking lineup.
However, the impending arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain has cast doubt on the winger’s future at the club. According to Sport, several Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old if he leaves the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current season.

Florentino Perez Against Letting The Player Leave
Rodrygo signed a new long-term contract extension last November, keeping him at the club until 2028. However, Mbappe’s potential arrival and the signing of Brazilian prodigy Endrick, have raised questions about the player’s role in the team’s future plans.
Sensing an opportunity to sign a player who might find himself on the fringe next season, both Manchester clubs, along with Liverpool and Arsenal, have reportedly inquired about Rodrygo, according to Sport in Spain. The report goes on to state that signing him appears to be an ‘impossible mission’ unless the player himself pushes for a move.

President Florentino Perez, however, has no intention of letting the talented winger leave and has reportedly already turned down a potential approach from Manchester United. It is also reported that Erik ten Hag’s side would have been willing to meet the player’s estimated market value of £85 million.

Despite Perez’s steadfast resolve to retain the player and integrate him into a formidable attacking trio alongside Vinicius and Mbappé, he could be tempted into a starting position at another team.
