The journalist adds that the Red Devils’ priority sporting director choice Dan Ashworth is interested in bringing Guehi to Old Trafford, as he is a fan of the England international and tried to make him sign for Newcastle United too.

What Can Guehi Bring To Liverpool?
The Reds could have added the Crystal Palace centre-back to their summer transfer wishlist because they might need to go on the hunt for a new defender if Joel Matip ends up leaving the club once his contract expires at the end of the 2023/24 season. The 23-year-old has been hailed as “impressive and authoritative” earlier this season and has nine England caps to his name too. He has made 26 appearances for the Eagles this season, helping them keep five clean sheets in the Premier League and even captaining the side. Having made 108 appearances since joining them, Guehi has gained quite a lot of experience and can help bring more composure and depth to Liverpool’s backline.
