Speaking about the summer window plans, Erik ten Hag said: “We are working on the plans for the summer transfer window. We plan in this construction what we have in the club and for the future, it’s crucial to be on the same page. At Manchester United, you always need to look for better. Good is not good enough.”
The Dutch manager also spoke on rumours that the club are looking to hire a new sporting director after being linked with Dan Ashworth, saying: “You see and you feel that ambition, brings a mood and a spirit. The players and staff are aligned with the ambitions of INEOS, that’s why we are playing for Manchester United. We want to win and achieve the highest. We have to make strategies and execute them to prove the ambitions.”

Which Positions Will United Look To Strengthen In Summer?
After Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s acquirement of 25% of the ownership stake at the club was confirmed by the Premier League, he and Ineos now have full control of sporting decisions for the first-team squad. The Red Devils are, therefore, likely to make a number of signings in the summer window.

They have also been reported to be aiming to sign a new top-quality striker in the summer, who can help add more goals to the team. Moreover, United have also been rumoured to have an interest in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to fix their issues on the right wing.
