The 21-year-old is a product of Manchester City’s academy, having played for their U23 before his first senior appearances. He has also played in multiple youth levels for England, including their U20 and U18 sides. Rogers is primarily an attacking midfielder, but his versatility saw him play in other areas like a left-winger and even as a centre-forward for Middlesbrough.
He is an efficient, goal-scoring midfielder who has proven to have a great eye for goals this season and the creativity to set up a lot of chances. Rogers, who was hailed as “terrific” last season, will need to work hard to complete the transfer before the winter window closes on February 1st.
