Manchester United have had their worst start to a season in the 21st century and are struggling to find much inspiration to get them out of this terrible run of form. What Did Ferdinand Say About Jude Bellingham?
The former Red Devils skipper believes United fluffed a great opportunity to sign Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham well before he began his rise in Europe. Speaking about why the Englishman didn’t move to Old Trafford, he said on his Vibe with Five show: “Do you know what I heard it was, he wanted some assurances about being a first-team player.
“And United weren’t willing to give him those assurances, that’s what I heard from a very good source. He wasn’t given assurances of being around the first team and he’s said, ‘do you know what, I know my worth, I know my value and if you don’t value me the way I see myself I’m going to have to jog on and go to another club’.

“He’s gone and done that and he’s turned round and gone, ‘I told you guys, you didn’t believe me did you?’ And he’s gone Real Madrid and he’s tearing down Real Madrid, he’s tearing down the Bernabeu, they’ve just rebuilt it and he’s tearing it down! Unbelievable.”

Are United Making Any Transfer Plans?
Fabrizio Romano has stated they want to sign a quality centre-back in 2024, in the January transfer window or the summer window, and are big admirers of OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
United have not really made a move to sign Bellingham in recent years after fluffing their chances to sign him earlier in his career. The 20-year-old is now one of the best players in world football and has previously been described as a “superstar” by Manchester United legend Roy Keane for his excellent showing at the 2022 World Cup.
