Arsenal have had an impressive start to the 2023/24 season and are currently joint-top in the Premier League heading into the October international break. However, they keep being linked to new players to sign in 2024, and one particular target is actually the brother of a summer signing.

Arsenal’s Links to Quinten Timber Clarified
Are Arsenal Looking to Sign Another Timber?
The Gunners have recently been reported to have been impressed by Jurrien Timber’s brother Quinten Timber, and might be interested in potentially signing him. The 22-year-old currently plays with Eredivisie side Feyenoord and has impressed many with his performances in the league and the Champions League.
Fabrizio Romano has issued an update on these links, and he states that he “honestly” has no update on the 22-year-old Dutchman’s future and whether Arsenal or any other club are seriously interested in signing him. He further adds by writing in his column: “He’s a very good talent but he needs to keep going, Jurrien is at another level in terms of top elite football but Quinten is very talented too and he has potential to arrive at the top level too.”
Timber Brothers Conflicting Starts to 2023-24 Season
Unlike his elder brother, Quinten Timber decided to depart Ajax in 2021 and is currently playing for Feyenoord. He saw Jurrien join Arsenal in a high-profile move in the summer and impress in his first few games before he suffered an awful knee injury that might have ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

On the other hand, Quinten is excelling for the Eredivisie side and has already made ten appearances, in which he has scored a goal and helped set up four goals. The 22-year-old can play as a no.8, or in a more advanced midfield role. The Feyenoord star used to play with Jurrien Timber, hailed as “very important” by Mikel Arteta before his injury earlier this season, at Ajax, and it remains to be seen if the two can reunite anytime soon at the Emirates Stadium.
